von Holzhausen is on the cusp of scaling rapidly and seeks a Director of Operations to work closely with the founder, to manage growth and operations, product and production, marketing, customer care, finance, and Sr. Leadership team.

Business Operations Director

This individual will develop the right level of visibility through metrics, tools, and dashboards in order to enable decision-making and drive the organization towards its strategic goals.

The role is multi-disciplinary and collaborative. It requires a high degree of relationship management with the following:

  • operations team
  • product development and production team
  • marketing team
  • customer care team
  • finance team
  • senior leadership team

Additional detail:
Project Management

  • Support and drive projects from start-to-finish, providing clear visibility and reporting, defining critical milestones, and ensuring deadlines are met

Dashboards + Reporting:

  • Define and build tools to measure and improve on KPIs, OKRs, and other relevant operational metrics.
  • Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analysis, and developing recommendations

Process Improvement

  • Break down organizational issues into key components and design analytical and operational approaches to identify solutions
  • Develop strategic frameworks and provide strong problem-solving leadership related to shaping strategic focus and operations approach for the organization
  • Ensure effective organizational change execution in partnership with Finance, People, Comms, and other key organizations

Ad Hoc Requests Managing team

  • Provide support to quickly turnaround ad-hoc requests/projects as needs arise

What You Bring

  • BA/BS Degree, preferably in a Quantitative field – Engineering, Finance, Business, Accounting, or other related fields
  • 7+ years of work experience in Financial Operations, Process Improvement, Project Management, Supply Chain, or other related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in prior role(s), including ability to motivate direct reports
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and lead through times of change
