Principal Charter for the VP, Strategic Partnerships – Contextual Commerce

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute new business strategies, products and projects across SYF & Loop functional processes
  • Identify and partner with existing B2B relationships and new market innovators to develop solutions and achieve shared business objectives
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key client decision makers within strategic industries such as digital and contextual commerce Manage the performance, sales and transaction objectives for strategic partners and understand the financial impact to the overall business Gain a deep understanding of the Loop Commerce platform, business model, strategic direction in order to support growth strategies and action plans
  • Determine market needs to develop product and business model concepts to test, evolve, and launch into market
  • Collaborate with internal team (finance, product, marketing, sales, engineering) to employ new business strategies
  • Maintain channel partnerships with multi-billion companies to fulfill B2B Loop Commerce Solution(s)
  • Interact with and engage key client decision makers
  • Conduct value added analysis & reporting to evaluate & drive program performance
  • Provide substantial contribution to solve complex problems and execute on effective solutions
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications and Core Competencies:

  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • Start-up experience preferred
  • Experience taking a product from concept to growth stage
  • Partnering with or integrating products in social commerce or network platforms
  • Client facing digital product development or ownership experience Strong marketing, creative and analytic skills
  • Proven ability to influence decision makers; strong negotiating skills Ability to demonstrate innovation and creative approaches to business needs
  • Proven ability to work remotely and independently
  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in digital new product development or digital product ownership for a client facing business
  • Minimum of 6 years’ project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Minimum of 4 years of client management experience
