Street League Skateboarding (SLS) is the pre-eminent sport & entertainment property in skateboarding. Founded by pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek in 2010, Street League Skateboarding was created to foster growth, popularity, and acceptance of street skateboarding worldwide. Since then, SLS has evolved to become a platform that serves to excite the skateboarding community, educate both the avid and casual fans, and empower communities through its very own SLS Foundation. In support of SLS’ mission, Nike SB joined forces with SLS in 2013 to create SLS Nike SB World Tour.


  • Responsible for developing a product management vision and strategy for all consumer facing platforms
  • Identify processes and solutions that increase speed to market, scale, and company partner success
  • Facilitate cross-functional working groups
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis
  • Document and communicate product requirements. This may include illustrating process flows and authoring user stories
  • Develop, maintain, evangelize, and own product roadmap for platform services to ensure it meets market needs and business objectives.
  • Deliver relevant, scalable, and innovative products from concept to successful implementation
  • Work closely with engineering to drive new products and features to market successfully
  • Prioritize projects according to market needs and business priorities, continually evaluate the performance of products and features against goals, develop recommendations for improvement, and manage product backlog
  • Ensure user oriented design and technical specifications are the primary approach to product development across platforms, based on user behavior data and direct customer feedback
  • Ensuring quality execution and on-time delivery


  • Deep understanding of product management and software development methodologies, including lean and agile
  • Knowledge of an experience with platform services, preferably in one or more of the following areas: content management, user management, e-commerce, subscription products, mobile/video, personalization, user engagement/loyalty, A/B testing
  • Understanding of TVE, subscription OTT, and other digital video subscription models
  • Software product management experience with a track record of successfully delivering great customer experience and high conversions
  • Ability and desire to work and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class, market-leading products and services
  • A “driver” personality – biased toward action, great collaborator – constantly driving towards clarity and delivery – drives projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Able to write product requirement documents PRD’s and forecast models
  • An obsession with understanding metrics and analyzing user behavior
  • Strong technical knowledge to talk with engineering teams about analytics agile methodologies, scalability, and site reliability
