Insights About this Role

This senior role will report directly to the Head of North American Creator Partnerships and will be responsible for leading the Creator Partnerships teams to achieve sales goals across our core creator offerings. Creator Partnerships plays a key role in developing relationships and brand awareness throughout the community, being the initial point of contact for entry into Jellysmack, generating strong pipeline activity, and negotiating and closing deals with our creator customers.

Jellysmack’s model is based on sharing risk and upside with its creators. Creator Partnerships is vital to the continued growth and evolution of market positioning within the creator community. As the company continues to rapidly develop and roll out new products to help creators build their businesses, this role will be critical in continuing to scale across all segments of the total addressable market. Success in this role will be tied to sales and revenue growth.

Jellysmack President, Sean Atkins and Head of Creator Partnerships, Jeff Olson are in the process of onboarding the new leadership of the Revenue Operations, Revenue Enablement and Creator Success functions which will support the selected VPCS. This is the perfect time to join this high-powered leadership team as it scales the Creator and Revenue platform and build out high performance teams. The VPCS’ team is currently 22 and is projected to grow at an accelerated pace in the quarters ahead. They are smart, young, passionate, and craving leadership, guidance, and mentoring.

Primary Mandates and Must-Haves

  • Architect the creator partnership organization and solutions to leverage and scale in support of Jellysmack’s revenue ambitions and its robust roadmap of new product launches
  • Build, lead, grow, and mentor the Creator Partnership team that earns a reputation for being customer (Creator) centric
  • Leverage industry best practices across systems & tools, processes, and people to identify opportunities for continuous improvement critical to scaling a world class selling org
  • Establish a framework for accurate revenue forecasting and pipeline management required to consistently exceed objectives
  • Strategize, prioritize, and implement the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), cadence, rigor, and discipline of world-class SaaS/platform providers
  • Operationalize a consistently repeatable selling methodology to increase sales efficiency and scalability as new products are incorporated; redevelop the sales pitch and strategy to include complete product menu and demos of tech capabilities
  • Champion the adoption, data hygiene and use of existing technologies (e.g. Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion) that support sales analytics and drive decision making
  • Partner with Revenue Ops/Enablement teams to develop industry leading training & development tools/content to enable performance and scale
  • Be an active participant in the rapid evolution of the product suite in a tight collaboration with Product Management/Development orgs
  • Set high standards for articulation and presentation of key messages while promoting Jellysmack’s value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market

Requirements

  • 10+ years demonstrated progressive experience in Revenue and or Enablement leadership roles – preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
  • Proven experience building a Revenue Operations strategy from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience managing a wide variety of revenue technology.
  • Familiarity with sales strategies, processes, and best practices across customer lifecycle.
  • Experience running account-based sales and marketing programs.
  • Familiarity with building and implementing onboarding/enablement/compensation sales plans
  • Consultative and analytical mindset.
  • Experience with managing key metrics for sales success.
  • Exceptional people leadership experience. Ability to acquire, develop and retain top industry talent to perform beyond expectations.
  • Strong strategic, analytical ability and intellectual curiosity to drive performance. improvement and solve business challenges.
  • Experience administrating process improvements in large scale sales operations.
